Its average, $38,105.39, is lifted by a small number of very large projects, so for a business site of a handful of pages the typical figure is the useful one.

Most projects combine the two: design and build time at the agency's rate, and a monthly plan or hourly billing for everything after launch. A fixed monthly plan replaces the hourly rate with one known price.
How much does a website cost per month?
Every website has running costs: hosting, a security certificate, software and security updates, backups, monitoring, and changes as your business changes. A managed plan puts all of them in one monthly price. Ours is $99€99 a month on Basic: hosting on our own VPS behind Cloudflare's global network, SSL, updates, monitoring, nightly backups, 30 minutes of edits and 5 new pages a month. On a yearly plan, Basic is $1,188€1,188 a year and Growth is $2,268€2,268 a year, and the build is free. On a monthly plan, the $299€299 build fee is charged once, when you approve your design, and nothing is charged before you have seen it.
How do I get an accurate website quote?
Describe the same scope to every provider: the pages, the features, who writes the content and what carries over from your current site. A complete quote then answers five things: the price of the build, what is included after launch, the rate for changes, who owns the domain and the site, and whether you can see the design before you pay. Why do we publish our prices?
So you can decide without a sales call. Every price we charge is on our pricing page, with what it includes and when it is charged, and the design comes first: we design your new website free, and you pay nothing until you approve it. An online shop, bookings and online payments are included in every plan, not added on.
