Manufacturing website design is built for a buyer who has done most of the research before calling. An engineer or a purchasing manager wants to know what you make, to what specification and tolerance, with which certifications, for which industries, and how to request a quote, without waiting for a sales call. So the site is organised around capabilities and products, with spec sheets and drawings to download and a request-for-quote form on every product page. The search is small but winnable: about 590 US searches a month for manufacturing website design, with weaker competition than most web design searches (Google Keyword Planner, our research, September 2026). We design your new homepage first, free, from your current site. If you approve it, the full site is built for $299 and run for $69 a month, with quote requests, hosting and edits included.

What does a manufacturing website need?

PartWhy it matters
CapabilitiesProcesses, materials, tolerances and capacity, a page each
ProductsA page per product or family, with its specifications in a table, not a PDF only
DownloadsSpec sheets, drawings and certificates, one click from the product
Request for quoteOn every product page, with room for quantities and files, delivered to your sales inbox
CertificationsQuality and industry certifications, shown and dated
Industries servedA page per sector, with the parts you make for it

Why do B2B buyers need more from a website?

Because many would rather not talk to sales at all. Gartner's research is blunt: "75% of B2B buyers prefer a rep-free sales experience" (Gartner, The B2B Buying Journey, read 28 September 2026). A buyer who cannot find the specification or the certificate on your site goes to a supplier whose site has it. That is why the product page, not the homepage, does most of the selling on a manufacturer's website.

How should a manufacturer's product pages be marked up?

As products, so search engines can read them as products. Google has a structured data type for exactly this case, product snippets, which it describes as markup "For product pages where people can't directly purchase the product" (Google Search Central, Intro to product structured data). Every product page we build carries it, with the product's name, description, images and, where you publish them, prices and availability. Buyers searching for a part by its specification then find the product page, not only the homepage.
