Where your details came from
Your own website, and public business listings — the kind of thing anyone gets by searching for your kind of business. A business name, a public email address or contact form, a phone number, and the web address that was already printed on your site. Nothing private, nothing bought from a list, nothing scraped from behind a login.
Why we contacted you specifically
Because we looked at your website and thought we could make it noticeably better. That is the whole reason. We are not emailing every business we can find — we look first, and if we have nothing useful to say we do not write.
The preview we sent you
If our email included a link to a redesigned version of your homepage, that page is private. It is not listed anywhere, not linked from this site, not in our sitemap, and it carries instructions telling search engines not to index it. It expires by itself after thirty days.
It is clearly marked as an unofficial concept and it says plainly that it is not affiliated with or endorsed by your business. Nothing on your real site has been touched or changed in any way.
Making it go away
The preview removes itself thirty days after we made it, on the date shown at the top of the page. To have it removed sooner, reply to our email and we delete it: no login, no form, no questions.
To stop hearing from us entirely, use the unsubscribe link in the email or just reply and say so. Either works, and either is the end of it. You can also email support@fablence.com and we will remove everything we hold on you.
